Officer Hospitalized after Auto Collision on Warm Springs Boulevard
FREMONT, CA (August 19, 2022) – A multi-vehicle crash on Mission Boulevard in Fremont left one officer hospitalized, Monday morning.
Authorities responded to the scene around 10:40 a.m., at the intersection of Mission and Warm Springs Boulevard.
According to reports, an officer responded to a service call with its lights and sirens on, when they were struck by another vehicle.
The driver then continued to travel on the road and ran into multiple stopped vehicles. A police cruiser and four other vehicles, including a shuttle bus, were involved in the crash.
Paramedics transported the involved officer to a local hospital after sustaining minor injuries. Meanwhile, another involved driver reported to have pain from the collision.
