Motorcycle-Vehicle Collision near Jack Tone Road Left Deputy Hospitalized

RIPON, CA (February 24, 2023) – Thursday morning, a police officer was injured following a motorcycle crash on Highway 99.

The incident happened on February 9th, at around 8:35 a.m., in the northbound lanes of the highway near the Jack Tone Road offramp.

According to reports, a police officer was riding his motorcycle when he become involved in a collision. The impact of the collision left the officer with serious injuries.

Emergency crews at the site of the collision transported the officer to a local hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the other driver involved in the crash did not obtain any injuries, and alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the incident.

After the crash, crews closed the road surrounding the crash to perform preliminary and cleanup duties.
