Oregon State Trooper Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Accident near Milepost 30

OREGON, WA (December 1, 2021) – At least one officer sustained injuries following a hit-and-run crash on Highway 30, Thursday afternoon.

Responding officers arrived to the scene around 3:30 p.m., on Highway 30 near Milepost 30.

As per Oregon State Troopers, a driver fleeing from a different accident struck one of their officers. However, police did not release any further circumstances leading up to the collision.

Paramedics arrived and rushed one victim to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland in critical condition.

Authorities withheld the identities of all parties involved at this time. In addition, officials closed the road along Highway 30 for several hours due to cleanup and investigation.
