Police Deputy Hospitalized after Being Bit by Dog near Medlock Drive
PHOENIX, AZ (August 3, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, police responded to a dog attack incident near 43rd Avenue. The incident happened when the police first received a report involving domestic violence in the area. According to the Phoenix Police, the officers arrived at the house and talked to the occupants when the dog suddenly jumped on one of the officers and attacked him. Furthermore, the officers added that the suspect fled the area before the authorities arrived. In addition, the officer bitten by the dog suffered non-life-threatening wounds. Consequently, paramedics transported the officer to the hospital where he was discharged later in the afternoon.
