Two Hospitalized after Motorcycle Accident near 3rd Street

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 7, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, an officer and a driver were hurt in a motorcycle collision on Harrison Street.

The incident occurred around 3:09 p.m., near 3rd Street.

Per reports, the driver of a Cadillac sedan struck an officer that was riding a motorcycle near the intersection. Paramedics arrived and transported the motorcycle officer to San Francisco General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the Cadillac driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Crews also took him to a nearby hospital for further treatment of unspecified injuries.

Emergency personnel closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
