This might be the best bonus round ever played. On Friday at the Ford, the Young Musicians Foundation and 50 members of its teen and 20-something orchestra, led by conductor Roger Kalia, will take their love of video games from the couch to the stage to perform the small-screen soundtracks for the likes of BioShock, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Diablo III, Starcraft II and Mass Effect III. Eight maestros of mayhem music have contributed to the Gamer Jams setlist, and a handful of composers will conduct their own pieces. Early on, gamers were invited to level up by submitting custom fan art, some of which will be projected during the performance alongside video footage from each game. No controllers, joysticks or headpieces are required, though a working knowledge of the games will earn you bonus points. This event is rated E for Everyone. Ford Amphitheatre, 2580 Cahuenga Blvd. E., Hlywd.; Fri., Sept. 27, 8:30 p.m.; $20-$100. (323) 461-3673, fordtheatres.org.
