Now the 38-year-old mother of 14 faces a felony welfare fraud case, the office of District Attorney Jackey Lacey announced:
]
According to a D.A.'s statement, she was hit with “one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application for aid.”

Prosecutors say that after Suleman moved to Lancaster (she had lived in O.C.'s La Habra) she filed for public assistance in January of last year. The D.A.'s office alleges:

While applying for public aid, the mother of 14 children allegedly failed to disclose that she was also getting checks for personal appearances and residuals from videos. She allegedly failed to report the extra income she earned between Jan. 1, 2013, and June 30, 2013.

The unreported income amounted to $30,000, prosecutors said. Suleman has done porn, as we've reported previously.

Authorities say she faces five years, 8 months behind bars if she's convicted.

The L.A. County Department of Social Services investigated the case. They probably did a double take when they saw her name on the application.
