And you thought Occupy was over?

With nearly a month before the presidential election, it appears that the Occupy movement has dwindled from public view. But on the one-year anniversary of L.A.'s own occupation of the City Hall Park, some protesters claim that the movement is back.

Some twitter accounts claimed today that …

… parts of downtown have been “re-occupied.”

The Weekly called the LAPD to ask if this was the case. An officer was surprised, but she said the demonstrators had been monitored by officers all day as they marched near Pershing Square.

Minutes later, Officer Norma Eisenman said there was little activity at City Hall.

Overstated?

We'll be watching.
