We had a little fun with the two-man “Occupy USC” operation yesterday. Perhaps the rich kids' school identifies more with the 1 percent of billionaires that is the ire of the Occupy Wall Street movement that started in New York a few weeks back and branched out to L.A. this week.

It looks like the public school kids are about to show the Trojan how it's done.

UCLA, Cal State Northridge and Santa Monica College students are planning to participate in an Occupy Colleges campus walkout at …

… noon today. The event appears to have an L.A. origin, at least according to our reading of its Facebook page:

Do not go to school. Go fight for yours and everybody elses rights at Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Los Angeles or your nearest Occupation. The time is now to join our fellow %99! … If you are near a local Occupation such as Occupy Los Angeles or Occupy Wall Street join them!

In all, 60 colleges from coast to coast are said to be participating. The list of schools is here.
