Vehicle Accident on Century Boulevard Kills One 65-Year-Old Man

WATTS, CA (June 29, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Compton Avenue claimed the life of  Obera Washington, Saturday night.

The accident happened at Compton Avenue and Century Boulevard on June 25th at around 6:00 p.m.

Furthermore, officers responded to a crash involving a motorcycle driven by Washington and an unidentified vehicle.

According to authorities, 65-year-old Washington was thrown from his bike due to the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with police.

Authorities closed the surrounding area for an extended period of time to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

No further information about the fatal motorcycle collision is available to the public at this time. An active investigation is currently ongoing.
