And yes, he'll be stuffing his pockets with bread. Or, rather, he'll be stuffing the pockets of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and possibly those of the Democratic National Committee during his L.A. stop on Nov. 25:

Variety reports that Obama is making up for time lost to that debacle known as the partial government shutdown.

As he grappled with Republican lawmakers over government funding and raising the debt ceiling limit, the President and the First Lady canceled previously scheduled fall fund-raising trips to Los Angeles.

The Hollywood publication says the prez probably will end up at the home of Power Ranger mogul and pro-Israel billionaire Haim Saban on Nov. 25, with a second fund-raiser for the DNC possible the next morning.

Last time we checked, Saban lives in the mega-wealthy gated community of Beverly Park above the city of Beverly Hills.

So it sounds like another great time for Westside traffic. Or maybe not.
