Today, U.K. dubstep innovator (and recent Silver Lake resident) Rusko will drop his debut album O.M.G.! on Diplo's Mad Decent label. The bass-heavy, hyperactive prankster Rusko, a.k.a. Chris Mercer is so excited about the new album (and M.I.A.'s new album that he produced), that later this week (ahem, it was originally slated for today), he's having a party and everyone's invited.

Mercer will have a BBQ at his recently purchased house (hopefully he's cleaned out the grill since I was there a few weeks back…), and he will stream it live on his UStream channel, OMGcookout. So, maybe you aren't invited, per se, but your eyeballs definitely are invited. Sure, you will just have to stare longingly at the screen, sniffing at your computer speakers just hoping that a waft of deliciously grilled steaks may waft your general direction, but at least it's better than spending an hour wondering if a panda is going to roll over.

Check back in and we'll give you the deal on the Rusko's bass & BBQ party!

After the jump, listen to Rusko's track with Dirty Projectors' Amber Coffman.

Listen:

'Hold On' f. Amber Coffman from Dirty Projectors

'Got Da Groove' f. Gucci Mane (Rusko is the first EU producer to work with Guuuuucci)
