Wow, it looks like Adam Nagourney needs to pick up an LA Weekly. His fascinating front of the home page story in the New York Times today about the Los Angeles Film School feud with the Hollywood Farmers Market is wrong.

It's not about the parking, as we have reported here. That was the technical, er legal, reason given. Old news! The facts, for the NYT's benefit:

This is the tip of the iceberg in a land-use war in which the film school needs full use of Ivar Street for extensive expansion plans involving Ivar Theater, which it also owns.

The fate of Hollywood Farmers Market is up in the air, because businesses on the main streets of Hollywood will have their own parking and access problems if the market moves. There you have it, Mr. Nagourney.
