Pinches Tacos, the taco chain with the dubious tagline “real Mexican made by real Mexicans!” (it's such a problem in L.A., no? All this Mexican food is made by … Russians or something?) has opened a fifth location in Larchmont Village. The store opened for business yesterday.

Owned by the Anaya brothers, Pinches has a menu of tacos, sopes, burritos, tortas and enchiladas. They're also serving a “gringo menu” (nachos, deep fried things, Taco Bell-style tacos etc.) and a kid's menu at this new location.

They plan to continue expansion later this year with a location in Las Vegas. The Larchmont Village location will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Pinches Tacos: 203 N Larchmont Blvd., Larchmont Village; 213-281-5471.
