Porn is a controversial subject and not just among the Moral Majority. Some argue that it's addictive, contributes to erectile dysfunction and breaks down relationships between partners. But no one, so far as we know, has theorized that it causes migraine headaches until now.

A 24-year-old bachelor in India has sadly had to curb his interest in porn due to headaches. Over the course of two years, the man got severe headaches every time he went through his XXX favorites. Headaches began during the first five minutes of viewing, gradually growing until reaching a fever pitch between eight and ten minutes into the clip. Researchers studying the man's rather unique pornography problem found that the headaches were due to the pain-sensing nerves in his jaw and face. These nerves were affected by the “heightened emotional state associated with viewing pornography,” according to researchers.

The otherwise healthy Indian software professional was not known for having migraines any time other than when he watched porn. No head injuries or meningitis infections, either. The condition, called “primary sex headaches” affects approximately one percent of the population. The phenomenon is more common in men than women, however. Approximately half of those who suffer from primary sex headaches also have migraines at other times. Still, no one knows whether primary sex headaches increase your chances of migraines or the other way around. Nor have studies linked primary sex headaches to any specific behavior, sexual or otherwise.

All tests checked out fine, indicating that the man had no other neurological problems. In fact, when a person has a sex headache with an identifiable cause, this is known as a “secondary sex headache.”

The worst part? There isn't much that can be done about it. Doctors advised the man to take acetaminiphen and ibuprofen half an hour before he begins his regularly scheduled wanking routine. The man reported that taking medication before he pulled on his meat decreased the headache pain associated with porn. Most sufferers have symptoms over a period of months, not years like this poor Indian man who apparently never thought to just give up watching porn.

Some patients in primary sex headaches have been prescribed indomethacin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory available by prescription that has successfully treated headaches.

So yeah… enjoy having something else to worry about before your three-hour wank session.
