The infamous founders of the Norwegian black metal scene, Mayhem, returned to the United States this winter, including a stop at the Observatory on Tuesday, Feb. 7. They performed their landmark 1994 album De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas, widely considered to be one of the most influential black metal albums of all time, in its entirety. Supporting them on the tour were Inquisition.
