38-Year-Old Woman Dies after Pedestrian Crash on Bethany Home Road
PHOENIX, AZ (January 23, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on 35th Avenue claimed the life of Norma Nichols.
The incident happened on January 19th, just after 5:00 a.m., near 35th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
According to reports, Nichols was crossing the road when she was struck by a passenger vehicle. As a result, Nichols sustained serious injuries. The vehicle then fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
Following the collision, paramedics transported Nichols to the hospital where she was treated for her condition. However, on Saturday, January 21st, she succumbed to her injuries and medics pronounced 38-year-old Norma Nichols dead.
