Elderly Woman Killed in Head-On Collision near Valley Circle Boulevard
WEST HILLS, CA (March 15, 2022) – Nohemi Harrison was arrested Saturday morning, after a fatal wrong-way accident on Woolsey Canyon Road.
California Highway Patrol officers responded around 6:15 a.m., in the area of 24045 Woolsey Canyon Road, near Valley Circle Boulevard.
Per reports, Harrison was driving a 2021 Porsche when she drifted over the double yellow lines and directly into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
As a result, Harrison collided head-on with a 2003 Nissan, driven by a 76-year-old woman.
First responders arrived and transported the elderly victim to Northridge Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, officials took 57-year-old Nohemi Harrison to West Hills Hospital where she was treated, released and ultimately arrested.
In addition, West Hills Officials closed Woolsey Canyon Road for at least five hours to conduct an investigation.
