Following Japan's nuclear crisis, demonstrators will hold a vigil outside the Westwood Federal Building to urge “a Non-Nuclear Future” for the United States and Japan.

Greenpeace, the organizer, states that demonstrators will “stand with the people of Japan and imagine a world free of nuclear disasters.”

Nuclear power seemed to have a renaissance in the last decade. But March 11 changed all that. Radiation from Japan's ailing Fukushima reactors has even reached California.

Vigils will also be held outside the White House and at San Francisco City Hall.
