Pregnant Woman Fatally Struck in DUI Crash near East Harmon Avenue
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 18, 2022) – Thursday night, Nina Fauble lost her life in a pedestrian hit-and-run on Nellis Boulevard.
The collision happened around 9:38 p.m., near East Harmon Avenue on November 3rd.
According to reports, Fauble entered the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk and was struck by a 2010 Toyota Camry driving south on South Nellis Boulevard. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the severely injured victim.
When paramedics arrived, they took the victim to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center’s Trauma Unit for treatment. There, medics pronounced 22-year-old Nina Fauble dead, due to the extent of her condition.
Following preliminary duties, police identified and arrested 37-year-old Oscar Pena, in connection with the hit-and-run crash.
Additionally, a GoFundMe page has been set up to support Fauble’s infant son in the wake of her death.
