58-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Winter Freeway

ABILENE, TX (June 10, 2024)Nicole Nash died Saturday afternoon in a three-vehicle collision at the 3200 block of North Danville Drive.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 12:15 p.m., near Winter Freeway on May 18th.

Investigators report that Nash was driving a 2000 Honda Accord north on Danville Drive when she suddenly veered left before entering the on-ramp to Winter’s Freeway. The Honda then collided with a 2023 GMC Yukon and a 2015 Audi in the northbound lanes.

Medical personnel pronounced 58-year-old Nash dead at the scene due to the severity of her condition.

After conducting initial investigations, authorities ruled out intoxication as a factor. The medical examiner’s office performed an autopsy on Nash to determine the cause of the crash. No updates are available at this time.
