19-Year-Old Girl Killed, Suspect Arrested after DUI Collision on Walnut Street

HESPERIA, CA (April 28, 2022) – Authorities arrested 19-year-old Nicolas Farino after a fatal rollover crash on Main Street, Monday evening.

Deputies responded to the scene around 9:38 p.m., at the intersection of Main and Walnut Street.

Per reports, Farino was driving a 2002 Dodge Ram towards the intersection when a 2005 Jeep Liberty turned left from westbound Main onto Walnut Street.

There, Farino crashed into the passenger side of the Jeep, causing the Jeep to roll over onto its side. As a result, the 19-year-old female driver of the Jeep died at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported Farino and his 18 and 16-year-old passengers for minor injuries.

In addition, authorities also arrested Farino after being discharged to the hospital for DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter. Hesperia Officials are asking anyone with information about the DUI crash to contact the police at (760) 947-1500.
