Hit-and-Run Crash on Interstate 5 Left One Fatality

LAGUNA HILLS, CA (February 18, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash on Interstate 5 claimed the life of Nick Mendoza Reyes Thursday morning.

According to the report, a white SUV hit a truck and continued directly into the path of a motorcycle.

Furthermore the rider of the 2022 Triumph motorcycle, identified as 31-year-old Reyes from Palm Desert, died at the scene.

Moreover, the driver of the SUV did not render aid and fled the scene before the authorities arrived.

Meanwhile, Laguna Hills Officials are asking anyone with information about the hit-and-run suspect to contact the California Highway Patrol Capistrano area at 949-487-4000.

An active investigation is currently underway.
