Elderly Man Dies in Single-Vehicle Collision near Arlington Avenue

RIVERSIDE, CA (March 1, 2022) – A solo-car accident on a 91 Freeway exit claimed the life of Nicholas Hindu, Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:00 a.m., at the Arlington Avenue off-ramp near the eastbound 91 Freeway.

Investigators say that the driver of a black Cadillac lost control and traveled through a guardrail, ultimately hitting a nearby wall. Due to the impact of the collision, 71-year-old Hindu was pronounced dead at the scene.

Eventually, officers shut down the off-ramp for more than two hours to investigate. No additional details about the collision or events leading up have been released at this time.
