Which brings us to the return of the ultra-cute kitten from China, Ni Hao!
Yeah, the baby kitten who survived 30 days without food or water on a container shipped from China to a Compton warehouse earlier this month is recovering nicely, county officials say. And he's ready for prime time, L.A.-style.
The three-month-old is poised to become a superstar. (There will likely be a waiting list when he's ready for adoption).

Despite a 60-day quarantine to ensure that Ni Hao doesn't have anything that could be spread around, L.A. County Department of Animal Care officials will trod him out today for the news media.
He's ready for his close-up.
The department says that Ni Hao will be doing interviews at the Carson Animal Care Center this morning.
Marcia Mayeda, director of Animal Care, says:
We are excited to see Ni Hao recovering so nicely. He's got a great appetite, he's gaining weight and, although a little clumsy, he's starting to walk on his own.
Just don't ask for an autograph.
