NFTs Are Way Beyond their Utility

When blockchain technology first came out, everyone was excited about its potential uses. Every industry was trying to figure out how blockchain can be used for their use case. One of the first use cases that people latched onto was the use of blockchain for voting. You would use a blockchain to count the votes. Then you have NFTs which were used to track ownership of a digital asset.

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are unique digital assets that people can collect, trade, or use as digital arts. People are using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) not only to create digital assets or collectibles in games. NFTs are also used as digital arts. That is why it is frequently described as a digital Mona Lisa.

The first use case as seen by many was CryptoKitties. With the launch of CryptoKitties on Ethereum, it became evident that people would use these tokens for various purposes.

Now, we are seeing real-world use cases of NFTs as developers are coming up with more and more creativity. There are startups that are trying to use this concept to come up with something unique.

One such startup is AOI. AOI is a platform focused on the intersection of art, technology, and design. It is a collective of artists, curators, and technologists who are building a community-driven marketplace dedicated to the future of Collectibles. Its goal is to elevate digital art and make non-fungible tokens (NFTs) accessible to a global audience through a non-fungible collection, metaverse exhibitions, television documentary series as well as a diverse schedule of 1/1 events.

The AOI collection is a select group of multi-dimensional artworks represented by non-fungible tokens. Each artwork contains artwork, like a pixelated piece of a painting, representing a connection between the analog and the pixelated promises of the metaverse. The tokenized pieces of the collection portray and map out the evolution of art on the internet, from early pixelated works of the 90s and the web 1.0 era up to the modern art pieces of the blockchain era and the initial promise of the metaverse.

One of the biggest problems that artists face is that they often have to leave their artistic space to meet the demands of their everyday lives. As a result, a lot of great ideas are left incomplete.

AOI is designed to inspire and educate people to be more creative and innovative. It engages in the production, promotion, and exhibition of emerging art & technology in the digital ecosystem driven by NFTs. It is a new platform that will showcase creatives that are at the forefront of innovation. From art to design to technology; this platform will unify a global community of creatives with a common voice and vision, emblazoned with the spirit of innovation.

AOI stands for Art on Internet and the AOI Museum is a place where you can come together with other like-minded people.

The AOI Museum is a collaboration between Tendril, CYPHER, and a group of visionary artists. It is an experience of the metaverse, where a constantly growing collection of interactive works of art will be on display.

The AOI Museum was built as a way to showcase art and promote artists of all skill sets. Every artist is equally as important as the next and The AOI Museum feels like it is the perfect venue for all creators to showcase their artwork.

AOI explores the history of digital art as a concept, but rather than a collection of works, it creates a space for audiences to see the medium for themselves. This project explores the relationships between artists, their mediums, and the way that their work can be understood and presented.

Art and technology have always been fascinating subjects since the dawn of the internet age. Many brands try to touch a chord with their audiences by collaborating with artists to create innovative projects. AOI collaborates with artists to provide them with a medium to enhance their work.
