A pot shop worker was shot and wounded during the robbery of a Northridge dispensary over the weekend -- the third medical marijuana robbery the ended in gunfire in the last week, police said.
The heist at MediMar, 8924 Reseda Blvd., was reproted at 9 p.m. Saturday, said Capt. Kevin McClure of the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division. The worker was hospitalized and is expected to survive. The take?

So far police don't believe the three pot-shop shootings are related, he said. "The three that Robbery-Homicide is currently investigating -- we have nothing to indicate they are related," he said.
On Thursday a robbery at an Angeleno Heights pot shop took the life of an employee there, 27-year-old Matthew Benjamin Butcher, the son of local labor leader Julie Butcher. A security guard was also shot and wounded. Later that night, a security guard was killed in a dispensary robbery in Hollywood.
The Northridge robbery marked the second time that pot shop was hit. McClure said it was robbed in January as well.
