Chelsea Lately may be off the air, but former panelist Jo Koy is sticking to his stand-up roots. Koy has been on the comedy circuit for nearly 20 year, and his fans know the funnyman loves to turn his Filipino mom and the pains of raising an adolescent son into fodder for his act. Fans also know Koy from The Adam Carolla show where he voices several Asian caricatures, including a Japanese competitive food eater, a P.F. Chang’s host and – his most popular – Bung Lu Soo, an aspiring singer. Koy has recorded two Comedy Central specials and co-hosts his own podcast, The Michael Yo and Jo Koy Show. After a three-night stint at the club, Koy hosts their New Year’s Eve bash, which includes party favors, champagne toast and passes to an upcoming show.
