Let's face it; women do things for the benefit of other women, not for men. If the latter were true we'd be slinging our cameltoes around town like this season's hottest designer handbag.

Here's a fact: Guys like gazing at the outline of our labia, ladies. (Go figure!)

But instead of celebrating our crotch curves, many of us have been going out of our way to camouflage them without success — until now.

Ever the investigator, I found the solution online, it's a woman owned and operated company called Cuchini, and they make durable reusable coochie cover-ups for chicks. I cruised their site, liked what I saw and contacted the owners; three hotties that know a thing or two about anatomical detail.

Ashly Simpson, President and CEO of Cuchini LLC, who maintains the site along with partners Kelly Heyniger and Christy Sugrue, responded to my inquiry about how they came up with the concept:

“After years of using various homemade versions of the Cuchini to prevent camel toe in bikinis, yoga pants and other clothing, it occurred to us that other women must be experiencing this fashion faux pas as well.”

“Not only were we correct that these women would welcome a quick remedy to simplify what used to require MacGyver type solutions, but we also continue to gain popularity in markets we never originally contemplated.”

Just slip it into place.

Just slip it into place.

Here's how it works: The Cuchini is a reusable lightweight triangular shaped 5.25″ x 3″ pad that is 100% polyester. Double sided tape is included and extras can be purchased on their website. Peel one side of the liner off and secure the tape to the Cuchini pad, then peel off the other side and adhere to the garment you are using the Cuchini with. You can gently hand-wash the pad with mild detergent, or machine wash it in a lingerie bag with light colored clothing on the gentle cycle, and allow to air dry before using.

“Our customers share with us that they don't have any time to waste between juggling work, family and friends to worry about these awful wardrobe malfunctions. The bottom line is women don't want to show off their Camel-toe in public and with the proliferation of smart phones with video and cameras everywhere, people need to be comfortable presenting an image that the web can circulate to the world in seconds. It is our goal at Cuchini to provide women with these fashion accessories to provide this peace of mind.”

“Cuchini is rapidly becoming an international brand through word of mouth, as we don't utilize regular advertising techniques because we are a small women owned business. We are continuously striving to create new product lines to help our fellow women with their fashion accessory needs.”

Easy as 1, 2, 3!

Easy as 1, 2, 3!

Cuchini colors come in nude and pink, and are a quick fix for hiding your fortune cookie in jeans, lingerie, hot pants, exercise wear, shorts, bikini's, cat suits and ski pants (hello, Mariah Carey?).

The company has branched out with the addition of Invisinips; hypo-allergenic self-adhesive nipple pads that provide maximum headlight coverage under your swimwear, sports bra, tanks, tees, silky tops and dresses. This is good news for the gals who can dial rotary phones with their erasers.

Now, if only the Cuchini ladies would invent pimple pads, I'd be covered head to (camel) toe.
