Motorcyclist Dies in Deadly 2-Car Crash on Interstate 5

SOLANA BEACH, CA (November 16, 2021) – An unnamed Nevada man died Wednesday morning following a 2-car crash on Interstate 5 in Solana Beach.

The incident happened around 9 in the morning of November 10, in the southbound lane on Interstate 5, near Valle De La Valle.

According to reports, a 24-year-old man riding a Kawasaki motorbike in the #1 lane rear-ended a 49-year-old Lakeside man driving a Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck.

The motorbike lost control as a result of the incident, and the rider was thrown from his vehicle.

Sadly, responding authorities discovered and pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

Following the investigation, police did not consider drugs and alcohol to be factors in the crash.
