Dennis RomeroA man wearing only underwear went on a rampage at a celebrated Beverly Hills eatery. And you know it was caught on tape (on the next page).
It happened Thursday bout 9:52 p.m., police said, when 29-year-old Kishane Karim Almendarez allegedly went bonkers inside Enoteca Drago:
He wasn't a customer. He reportedly walked into the restaurant at 410 N. Canon Drive and just started throwing stuff, including glasses and bottles. He even allegedly broke the restaurant's flat-screen TV.
He was apparently only wearing boxer shorts.
The suspect fled up the street and even damaged the windshield of a nearby car before police subdued him with the help of a taser, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department and reports.
Steven Piano, a partner at the restaurant, told CBS Los Angeles:
I'm guessing at least 50 bottles of wine were destroyed. There was two inches of wine on the wood floor. It's like, he was just quietly, calmly destroying property.
Suspect Almendarez was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism but was hospitalized before being jailed because he apparently cut himself during the rampage, cops said.
