Neal always hated losing. From a young age, he was always competing for something against his peers. Within three years, his life drastically turned for the worse when he started experimenting with drugs.

Drug dependency became more than Neal could handle, and he hit rock bottom. He overdosed, was hospitalized, and had a stint in rehab. Faced with his own mortality, Neal discovered one fundamental truth: everything that happened to him was because of him. He realized he had control of his life and could create whatever he wanted. That realization reignited his passion for excellence. He became obsessed with his personal transformation physically, neurologically, and mentally.
