Rear-End Collision near Highway 41 Left One Dead

FRESNO, CA (August 19, 2021) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash on Highway 180 claimed the life of Navdeep Singh, early Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m., at Highway 180 near Highway 41, according to the CHP.

In addition, investigators determined that Singh rear-ended a semi-truck while driving westbound. Subsequently, the collision disabled Singh’s vehicle.

Shortly after, Singh decided to abandon his vehicle and walk towards the right-hand shoulder of the highway. There, an oncoming Honda Civic struck him.

Eventually, medical personnel arrived and transported 35-year-old Navdeep Singh to Community Regional Medical Center for further treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Later, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

No further details have been provided to the public at this time.

The Fresno Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
