18-Year-Old Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Traffic Accident on Craycroft

TUCSON, AZ (October 5, 2022) – Sunday night, police responded to a crash that claimed the life of Nathaniel Warren Washington. The fatal incident happened on October 2nd at around 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Speedway and Craycroft. According to police, the vehicles involved were a silver 2006 Dodge Dakota pickup truck and a blue 2016 Suzuki GSX-S1000F motorcycle. Furthermore, police stated that the Dodge was traveling eastbound and attempted to make a left turn when the Suzuki heading west collided with it. Responding authorities pronounced 18-year-old Washington dead at the scene. In addition, the area where the truck was attempting to turn left has a “No Turn” sign posted. Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. He was not determined to be impaired at the time of the crash. No charges or arrests have been made at this time. The cause of the crash was not yet determined as further investigations are underway.
