Man Killed in Single-Car Accident near Webster Street Tube

ALAMEDA, CA (December 7, 2022) – Thursday evening, a solo-car accident on Webster Street claimed the life of Nathan Stieber

Officers responded to the scene around 10:45 p.m., near the Webster Street Tube in Alameda. 

At this time, the cause of the crash remains unclear. However, responding firefighters extricated one person from the wreckage. 

Due to the extent of their condition, the driver succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital. The Alameda County Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as 37-year-old Nathan Stieber from New York.

No further details regarding the Webster Street crash have been released to the public. Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
