37-Year-Old Hemet Man Fatally Struck in Two-Vehicle Collision near San Jacinto Avenue

SAN JACINTO, CA (February 13, 2023) – Early Monday morning, Nathan Diaz was killed in a two-car accident on Ramona Expressway.

Authorities responded to the scene around 1:00 a.m., just west of San Jacinto Avenue.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that multiple occupants were trapped in the wreckage.

Responding fire units arrived and transported multiple occupants to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced 37-year-old Diaz, of Hemet dead.

Meanwhile, one other victim remains in critical condition.

San Jacinto Officials are asking anyone with additional information about the Ramona Expressway two-vehicle crash to contact the sheriff’s station at 951-766-2366.
