One Dead after Head-On Collision near Tijeras Creek Road
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA (May 27, 2022) – Tuesday night, Natalia Vaca Guevara was killed in a head-on crash on Antonio Parkway.
The incident happened around 10:10 p.m., on the southbound lanes of the road near near Tijeras Creek Road.
Investigators believe that the woman drove at excessive speeds and hit the center median. As a result, her left-front wheel locked in place. The vehicle then went over the median and into the northbound lane, colliding head-on with another vehicle.
As a result, the male driver of the second vehicle sustained injuries along with the male passenger in the woman’s vehicle.
Authorities later identified the deceased woman as 27-year-old Guevara.
At this time, the identities of the two injured victims remain unavailable. Rancho Santa Margarita Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the head-on crash.
