If Narduwar isn't the best music journalist working, he's definitely the most entertaining.

First of all, the Canadian legally renamed himself “Nardwuar the Human Serviette” in 1986. He unearths so much buried information on his interviewees he should work for the Feds. He ends every interview by sing-songing “Doot doola doot doo,” and prompting his subject to complete the phrase with “doot doo!” Needless to say, he's also probably been told “Fuck you” more often than all of us here at the Weekly combined, and that's saying something.

He recently interviewed early Odd Future affiliate, rapper Casey Veggies, and Queens of the Stone Age lead singer and guitarist Josh Homme (listen for Nard's shout out to LA Weekly sometime contributor and cover boy Travis Keller of Buddyhead).
