25-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Rear-End Accident near South Edison Road

ARVIN, CA (September 7, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, Nando Luis Alvarez Condo was killed in a motorcycle crash on DiGiorgio Road.

The incident took place around 1:30 a.m., just east of South Edison Road on September 1st.

Police say a westbound vehicle driven by 33-year-old Adolfo Lievanos Garcia, of Lamont rear-ended a motorcyclist at an unknown rate of speed.

Upon impact, Condo was ejected onto the road while his motorcycle rolled several times. Medics arrived and pronounced 25-year-old Condo, of Bakersfield dead at the scene.

Following preliminary investigations, alcohol or drugs did not appear to be a factor in the deadly crash. At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway. Once available, further details will be provided.
