Texas electric blues artist Sugaray Rayford released his fifth studio album, Somebody Save Me, last year and it earned him a Grammy nomination. It should have kickstarted what was already an impressive career — given him the sort of next-level bump that he needed. But then the world effectively ended, putting everything on hold. Still, he put out a new single called “Homemade Disaster” in August.

“I love this song more and more every time I hear it, the sound and lyrics take you on a wild ride. America, we allowed this to happen on our watch – what we got here is a homemade disaster,” Rayford said in a press release.

He’s livestreaming a “Live from the Suga Shack” set on Tuesday.
