The Refraction arts and music festival has been going on from mid July, and events continue this week with streams by, among others, Palestinian producer Muqata’a, and Columbian-Canadian artist Daniel Rincón.

“The two-week program of performances, video exhibitions, installations and audiovisual performances from contemporary artists across sound, fashion, visual and digital art will take place in different locations across the internet, running nightly from July 16th through 30th 2020,” they say on their website.

“Refraction has decided to premiere each specially commissioned project as a livestream. All performances will then be available on-demand in a virtual gallery on the Refraction website for the rest of the month. In lieu of tickets and festival passes, Refraction will raise money for Color Of Change, The Bail Project, Primary Colours, The Okra Project and Afrotectopia at each event throughout the festival.”

Tune in from 11 a.m. PT on Tuesday, July 28 at refractionfestival.com.
