British neo-soul singer and songwriter Lianne La Havas released her self-titled third album in July, and she’s appearing on self-proclaimed music nerd Anthony Fantano’s Twitch show The Needle Drop this week.

She released a wonderful cover of Radiohead’s “Weird Fishes” in the summer, following the excellent “Paper Thin” and “Can’t Fight” singles. Of the former, she said in a press release:

“‘Paper Thin,’ for me, is the song that started this whole thing. It started as a distant melody in my head as I was falling asleep that I decided not to sleep on. It was recorded as jam between friends and has stayed that way.”

Tune in at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 5 via Twitch.
