While she’s long been on the “one girl and a guitar” trip, Austin singer and songwriter Jackie Venson released the remix EP Jackie the Robot, Vol. 1 in April of this year, which saw her go in a more electronic and lush direction. That followed hot on the heels of the wonderful and appropriately named 2019 full lengther Joy. It’s tough to know, therefore, what she’ll be dropping during Friday’s livestream. But it’ll be good.
