Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien was named the 59th best guitarist of all time by Rolling Stone, which is a deserved accolade. The guy uses effects to help create the lush soundscapes that Radiohead employ and, much like Tom Morello, he shifted the boundaries of what can be achieved with the instrument.

Back in April, he released Earth — his debut solo album. He used a variety of musicians on the record, and people seem to like it. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting on a follow-up to 2016’s A Moon Shaped Pool from Radiohead, though four-five years between albums isn’t uncommon for them.
