The world’s a very small place during lockdown. On one hand, we’re severely restricted with where we can (and can’t) go. On the other, the virtual DC Jazz Festival is as accessible to people in Southern California as it is to jazz-heads in Washington DC itself.

The lineup for this 16th year is typically superb, with highlights including Danilo Perez Trio with Ben Street & Adam Cruz, Frédéric Yonnet and The Band With No NameMatthew Whitaker Quartet, Baby Rose , Marc Cary, Ben Williams, Allyn Johnson & Sonic Sanctuary, Dado Moroni, Christie Dashiell, Nasar Abadey Trio, The Chuck Brown Band, andHerb Scott.

Tune in at 9 a.m. PT on Thursday, September 24, here
