Ontario-based indie blues singer Cat Clyde put out the acclaimed album Hunter’s Trance earlier this year, and it’s jam-packed with haunting soul ballads. Recent single “So Cold” is a great example, and the video (below) is a glorious tribute to ’70s female revenge flicks. She followed that with “Mama Said,” which pulled in 9 million streams on Spotify alone. This week, she performs as part of the “Live from the Velvet Underground” series.
