All female tributes to male metal bands are often more interesting than the usual “close as you can get it” tribute band fare. A female singer’s pitch is going to be different to their male counterpart, so the fans are often an unusual take on a song they’ve loved for years. That’s why the likes of the Iron Maidens and Lez Zeppelin are so popular. The same is also true when males perform tributes to female bands (anyone remember the Gay-Gays?).

Black Sabbitch are among the better tributes around, and they’re performing a Halloween “Spooktacular” from their backyard on Friday. They say, “We are back! Live from the backyard with a completely new set of Sabbath classics for your Halloween pleasure.”
