A huge number of bands from the hard rock and metal world are joining forces for Thursday’s virtual Better Noise Music Festival, with proceeds benefiting, they say, the “Global Recovery Initiatives Foundation (GRI) to provide support services for those in early recovery from a substance use disorder.”

Recently reformed glam metal titans Mötley Crüe headline, but the likes of Five Finger Death Punch, The Hu and Tuk Smith & the Restless Hearts make this interesting from top to bottom (see full lineup below).

According to the press release, “The event will be hosted in partnership with LiveXLive a global platform for live stream and on-demand audio, video and podcast content in music, comedy, and pop culture.  Through LiveXLive all live streamed performances will be simulcast on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and Twitter.”

Tune in from 3 p.m. PT on Thursday, July 16 via Youtube or Facebook.
