Verizon’s Pay It Forward Live is a twice-weekly live stream that sees some of music’s biggest names performing to raise money for small businesses. On Thursday, singer, songwriter, rapper and actress Janelle Monáe will take her turn. Her last recorded output was “That’s Enough” from the The Lady and the Tramp soundtrack, but her songbook is deep and wonderful.
