71-Year-Old Driver Hurt in Two-Vehicle Collision near Mono Vista Road

SONORA, CA (January 19, 2022) – Monday afternoon, 71-year-old Murriel Kelly was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 108

The collision occurred just before 2:00 p.m., along Highway 108 near Mono Vista Road.

Per reports, a speeding 2015 Ford Mustang approached the Mono Vista and North Sunshine Road intersection. There, the Mustang driver struck the left side of a 2016 Subaru Outback turning left from Mono Vista.

As a result, the Subaru driver, identified Kelly of Soulsbyville, suffered from minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the Mustang driver, identified as 33-year-old Alexander Mendenhall, of Sonora remained at the scene for questioning. At this time, Sonora Officials are still currently investigating the Highway 108 crash.
